furious operation were found where he was murdered. he was the last border patrol agent who was shot dead before ivy. a judge blocked pennsylvania effort to fight voter fraud. all voters show photo id. critics many democrats claim it would disenfranchise line momin. he expected more photo id's to be issued at this time. the remaining five weeks before the election the gap between the photo id's issued and the estimated need will not be closed. some supporters say the ruling shows a clear double standard. >> obama had a rally if you had to have a photo id to go to his rally. if it is good enough for his rally why not here. >> american airlines is now blaming clamps they say were installed incorrectly for the seats popping lose during three

different flights since late last week. the airline is now inspecting other airplanes that use the very same clamps. 36 have been checked so far, 4 needed to be fixed 11 more planes still need to be inspected. the clamps were installed incorrectly during maintenance work by employees and contractors. there has been speculation the problems may have been the result of sabotage related to a bunch of ongoing labor disputes between the company and the union. but the airline ruling that one out. another dead end in the search for jimmy hoffa's remains. michigan police say they didn't find human remains under a shed in roseville. police took soil samples last week after a tip from a man on his death bed. he claimed he saw a body being buried at the house in 1975. hoffa disappeared from a parking lot near detroit. have have been several tips over

attempt to improve security there the state department contract officer actually shut that down. steven haze who is also a fox news contributor spoke about the seriousness of the developments last night on special report. listen to this. >> it is significant. we find more and more details coming out that are problematic for the situation and suggest we aren't getting the entire story from the outset. you had susan rice and others who are suggesting that the consulate was as well secured as it could have been not only security contractors on the ground providing security for the building itself but many members. made it sound like a big team. it appears that's not the case. we learned two other things in the past 36 hours that present additional problems. we have heard about this telephone intercept between al qaeda linked groups about the attack. we know that phone call took place immediately after the

attack and the administration had access quickly after the attack. the question is, if they knew that if they had access to that information so quickly after the attack why wouldn't it shared with the american people? the commander the top general in africa who oversees this, carter han told reporters in july that the united states hadn't done nearly enough to brave the growing threat from al qaeda in libya he was saying that back in july it should have been raising alarm bells at the time. >> members of the government reform committee claimed multiple pleas were denied by the u.s. government. they sent a letter to hillary clinton demanding answers. they are also hearing next week. jason will be joining fox and friends today at 8:50. you will want to hear that one. it is time for the first degree weather update from maria molina

official. they are moving ahead with something it was told not to do for years. >> it spent $169 millions to buy a correctional facility in illinois that has been in a debate over bringing detainees from cuba into the united states. in a memorandum president obama directed attorney general eric holder to acquire the facility and prepare it to house gitmo detainees. they blocked any funding to transfer them from gitmo to mainland. they have been found not to place any of the detainees at the illinois facilities. >> we will not move people from guantanamo to thompson. that is my pledge as attorney general. >> skeptics including one of the vocal critics of the original plan congressman frank wolf remains doubtful. >> you can't take the attorney general at his word. >> that's not his only

no doubt pretty intense operations for both of these guys as they get ready for the big contest. mitt romney in colorado we saw him briefly with senator rob portman his sparring partner for a quick break. president obama is still in nevada running through his own preparations with massachusetts senator john kerry his sparring partner they will head to colorado soon enough, though. both of them are in essence cramming for the big test tonight. number twos were duking it out on the trail and that got some unexpected attention yesterday vice vice presidemitt romney cae by the middle class. >> this is deadly earns, deadly earns. how they can justify how they can justify raising taxes on the middle class is buried the last four years.

lunches. last year students tossed out about 75,000 dollars worst of produ -- worth of produce. parents think the money could be spent elsewhere. >> this mystery woman on a manitee. the picture was snapped in florida. she got on the animal and proceeded to go on a joy ride through the water. she claimed she had no idea what she was doing was illegal. she has not been charged but can expect a $500 fine or jail time for up to 60 days. before you leave the house this morning let's get an update from maria molina. good morning. it was a pretty messy day across the northeast yesterday we had to deal with rain and thunderstorms and even dense fog. we are going to deal with that today. although the rain i don't think will be as heavy as yesterday.

up state new york down into parts of western pennsylvania and dense fog out across the new york city area. we are going to be seeing delays in the big airport hubs due to how dense the fog is. as we head southbound to florida dealing with some of the rain still as well. the storms will be a very slow mover. relatively weak. we are not expecting flooding rains from that storm. as we head westbound into parts of the northwest we have a strong storm pushing into parts as we head into tomorrow. this storm had cold air with it. it will be through areas of snow through parts of monday tan nall. you can see 4 inches of snow across parts of north talk and minnesota winter weather advisories. due to the anticipated snowfall

to their opponent's face for the first time. tonight's debate in denver will be moderateed by jim leerer and will be split up between 6 segments the first focused on nt economy followed by lines of questioning about other dop stick policy issues including healthcare and since both sides know there will be ten's of millions of voters hanging on their every word they have been hunkered down the last few days per respecting their pitches and lines of defense. president obama has been in the swing state in nevada since sunday with his sparring partner jim kerry. although the president took a brief break yesterday and visited the hoover dam. while he has been in colorado another spring state studying for his first ever presidential debate and arguing with ohio center rob portman to stand in for mr. obama. why we did see the gop nominee
